WELCOME 

Welcome to our website.  Emmaus Baptist Church is new to the Genoa-Kingston area and we may not have met you yet.  We look forward to doing so very soon.
  
The name "Emmaus" is taken from Luke 24:13-35.  The account describes the journey of 2 men on the Emmaus Road following what to them was the ultimate tragedy--the cross.  As they traveled a third man joined them.  Unknown to them he was the risen Christ.  As they reached the end of their journey they came to realize who the third man was.  At that point they could hope again.  

Whatever we are going through, the fact that the risen Christ is with us gives us hope.  That is the hope that we wish to share with you.
